You're so sweet

Hallo ihr Lieben!
Ich habe heute zwei Anhänger für euch, die sich wunderbar zum Verschenken von Süßigkeiten eignen. Ich habe das wundervolle Stempelset "Baking Buddies" von hello sweetums verwendet.

Today I have two tags for you, which are wonderfully suitable for giving away sweets. I used the wonderful stamp set "Baking Buddies" from hello sweetums.

Ich habe hier einige verschiedene Techniken verwendet. Für den goldenen Anhänger habe ich goldene Glitzer-Paste über eine Schablone aufgetragen. Wenn ihr keine gefärbte Glitzer-Paste habt, könnt ihr auch einfach Strukturpaste nehmen und den Glitzer eurer Wahl darüber streuen.

I have used several different techniques here. For the golden tag I applied golden glitter paste over a stencil. If you don't have a colored glitter paste, you can simply use texture paste and sprinkle the glitter of your choice over it.

Die kleinen Motive habe ich auf weißen Karton gestempelt und mit Alkoholmarkern ausgemalt.

I stamped the small motives on white cardboard and painted them with alcohol markers.

Für den anderen Anhänger habe ich den Hintergrund mit den Distress Oxide Farben "victorian velvet" und "aged mahogany" gefärbt und anschließend eine Herzchen-Embossingschablone von vaessen creative verwendet. Der Spruch ist weiß embosst auf schwarzer Pappe.

For the other tag I colored the background with the Distress Oxide colors "victorian velvet" and "aged mahogany" and then used a heart embossingfolder from vaessen creative. The sentiment is white embossed on black cardboard.

Um den Motiven ein wenig mehr Leben zu verleihen habe ich die Augen mit schwarzen Nuvo-Drops nachgemalt. Das leuchtet im Licht richtig schön!

To give the motives a little more life I painted the eyes with black Nuvo Drops. This shines really nice in the light!

Hi dear crafters!

Today it's my turn again to show you some fun stuff. I love making a mess with wet embossing.
Slowely the holiday season is coming up, so I made a tag, that you can send from your vacation adress or attach to a gift that you bought on your holiday.

Let's start

As you can see do not need much and not on the photo is the heat tool and the craftsheet. The craftsheet is resistent to the heat and easy to clean with glue, ink and paint and keeps your table clean. And the heattool you need to heat the embossing powder.

Place the mask on  the tag and ink it with the Vintage Photo Distress ink and dry it quickly with the heattool. 

Grab some fun stamps and stamp it with the versamark watermark ink on your tag and sprinkle quickly the ebossing powder on the just stamped part. Carefully discard the rest of the powder back in the jar.  Now get your heattool and place the tag on the craftsheet and gently heat the embossing part.

You will see it starts to shimmer a bit and get it bit thicker than the rest of the part. This technic is called wet embossing.

Now you can have some fun with all kinds stamps on it. You can use some more of this technic or normal stamp it. 

You may want to use other colors with the embossing colors and ink. Try it!

Distress Oxide...Tag

Hallo zusammen,

mein neuer DT Beitrag für den Cards und More Shop Blog ist heute ein Tag. Man kann sie ganz wunderbar als Lesezeichen benutzen. Schon neugierig wie ich es gemacht habe?

Dann los...
Zunächst habe ich ein kraftfarbenes Tag (16x8cm) mit Distress Oxide "Hickory Smoke" und "Bundled Sage" stellenweise eingefärbt. Dazu drückt ihr das Stempelkissen auf einer glatten Unterlage ab, besprüht es mit Wasser und zieht dann das Tag durch die Farbe.

Gefällt euch der Effekt, könnt ihr das Tag jetzt bestempeln. Dazu habe ich "London Fog" von Memento mit den "Sendig Messages" Clear Stamps von Joy Crafts verwendet.

Mit Stencils lassen sich schöne kleine Akzente erreichen. Hier habe ich mit Distress Ink "Walnut Stain" nicht nur den Rand gewischt, sondern auch die Kreise vom Stencil "Geometric Tiles" von Dutch Doobadoo auf das Tag übertragen.

So habe ich mir einen schönen Hintergrund gestaltet. Als Hauptmotiv habe ich mir den wunderschönen "Floral Flourishes" Clear Stamp von Joy Crafts genommen, auf das Tag gestempelt und schwarz embosst. 

Den passenden Spruch habe ich aus dem Stempelset "Happy Thoughts" von Penny Black gewählt. Ebenfalls gestempelt und schwarz embosst. 

Verfeinert habe ich das Tag mit weißen Spritzern und einem schwarzen, selbst gedoodelten, Rand. Zum Schluss habe ich es  auf schwarzen Cardstock geklebt (für mehr Stabilität) und mit einem Eyelet + Band versehen. Ist doch gar nicht so schwer. Viel Spaß beim Nachmachen!

jetzt sind wir schon im Advent - nun aber los mit den Weihnachtsvorbereitungen! Ich habe heute ein paar verschneite Tags als Anregung für Euch, mit denen Eure Geschenke garantiert ein Hingucker werden!
it is already advent - so time to get ready with the christmas presents! I've got some snowy tags for you today that will help to make your presents real eye-catchers!

Zunächst habe ich aus hellblauem Karton mit der My Favorite Things Die-Namics Cross Stitch Tag Stanze die Tags ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich Motive aus dem Creative Expressions Festive Friends Stempelset mit Memento Tuxedo Black auf weißen Karton gestempelt, mit Copic Markern coloriert, einzelne Details mit einem weißen Sharpie Stift hinzugefügt und ausgeschnitten. Auf die Tags habe ich dann noch verschiedene kleine Sprüche gestempelt, z.B. aus der Vildastamps Stempelplatte Weihnachten.

I started by die-cutting the tags with the My Favorite Things Die-Namics Cross Stitch Tag from light blue cardstock. Then I stamped images of the Creative Expressions Festive Friends stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white card-stock, colored them with Copic markers, added details with a white Sharpie pen and fussy-cut them. I then added some sentiments onto the tags, e.g. from the Vildastamps Stempelplatte Weihnachten.

Dann habe ich auf billigen Prospekthüllen (die teuren lassen sich meist nicht so gut verschweißen) die Form der Tags mit dem My Memory Keepers Fuse Tool nachgezeichnet. Dabei ist es ganz wichtig, dass man eine Seite offen lässt, um die Beutelchen noch füllen zu können.
Then I fused cheap plastic pockets (the more expensive often don't fuse that well) using a tag as a stencil with my My Memory Keepers Fuse Tool. Don't forget to leave one side open to be able to fill the pockets later!

Ich habe dann die Klarsicht-Tags mit Pailletten, Sternen-Konfetti und Deko-Schnee gefüllt. Danach wird jedes Tag mit dem Fuse Tool mittels einer horizontalen Naht an der oberen Kante entlang und einer weiteren etwas tiefer verschlossen. In den dadurch entstehenden oberen Abschnitt zwickt man dann mit der Crop-a-dile ein Loch.
I then filled the tags with sequins, star confetti and snow powder. Then I closed the tag byfusing a horizontal line below the top and another one along the top border. Into the section between the two horizontal fusion lines I poked a hole with the Crop-a-dile.

Jetzt müssen die gefüllten Beutelchen nur noch mit den Cardstock-Tags mit etwas Bäckerei-Garn zusammengeknotet werden.
Now the clear pouches can be tied onto the cardstock tags with some bakers' twine.
