For Those Last Minute Gifts

Hello, friends! 

It's Nancy back with a new project made with products 
from the Cards and More Shop .

Today I want to share a last minute gift idea,
it's also a great way to use up some of your favorite scraps.

Over this past year I have shared numerous projects 
using the wonderful Maja Design Vintage Frost papers.
I am down to the smallest scraps but am finding ways to use them up.

This project would be lovely for those last minute gifts.
Sometimes you just don't know what to get for some people.
That is usually when you resort to buying gift cards.
These little decorative bags would be ideal packaging for these cards.

I made my bag using the Tim Holtz In the Bag die but there are many other options available.

You can even make one yourself!

These particular bags measure 3" x 4" x 3/4".

Here they are...one for him and one for her:

Here's the one for her.

I used a scrap of the pretty paper, keeping the branding strip along the bottom.

I tool and ink distressed the edges, and adhered it to the bag.

I added a pretty trim across the top.

Then I fussy cut the little angel embellishment out,

inked the edges, and adhered it in place.

Here's the one for him.

Again, I chose a paper, and tool and ink distressed the edges.

I wrapped some twine around it and tied a bow.

I fussy cut the sweet Santa embellishment, inked the edges,

and adhered it in place.

I kept the backs of the bags plain so that a message can be added.

Hallo und einen schönen Mittwoch euch allen!

Heute bin ich, Natascha, wieder an der Reihe euch eine neue Inspiration zu zeigen. Ich habe wieder eine neue Grußkarte für euch. Diese ist zum Geburtstag entstanden und sollte in der Zwischenzeit beim Geburtstagskind angekommen sein.

Dieses Mal habe ich wieder einige Papierreste in Streifen getrimmt und zu einem schönen Hintergrund geklebt. Das ganze habe ich dieses mal in rosa-braun gehalten.

Love the little things

Hallo!

Einen schönen Donnerstag euch allen! Heute bin ich, Natascha, wieder an der Reihe euch zu inspirieren. Ich habe vor einer Weile einige tolle neue Sachen von Dutch Doobadoo und Joy Crafts gekauft und freue mich sehr euch diese Produkte auch mal vearbeitet zu zeigen.

Für meinen persönlichen Lieblingsplatz - mein Bastelzimmer - ist dieses Hängerchen aus einem MDF Oval und einem von Hand zugeschnittenem passendem oval aus Kraftkarton entstanden. Dieses Projekt hat mich so einige Abende gekostet, aber um so mehr freue ich mich, dass ich es fertig habe und das fertige Projekt mich so schön von der Seite täglich begleitet und mich erfreut.

Valou - A clock

Hello everybody ! 

This morning, I come to show you a lovely project! 

To realize this clock, I used a wooden base bought in a store of creative leisure activities. I covered it with paper " Kaisercraft ", collection " True Romance ". The edges of the paper are used with "Old Distresser" then inked to the ink "Distress Walnut Stain".

To the right, I stuck a die-cut " Border Butterflies " realized with a fall of paper and a dies " Joy! Craft ". I covered it with some touches of "Glitter Stickels Icicle".

On the lower edge of the clock, I stuck the lace "Flowers" pink. I added a small pearl silvered in the center of every flower.

I used a character "Magnolia".

I colorized it in the following way: 

- Ink "Distress Tattered Rose" and "Distress Vintage Photo" for the skin. 

- Ink "Distress Antique Linen" and "Distress Walnut Stain" for hair. 

- Ink "Distress Worm Lipstick". 

- Ink "Distress Tumbled Glass". 

- Ink "Distress Pumice Stone". 

- Glitter Stickels Diamond

I cut it then I stuck it with three layers of "Foam Tape".

For the dial, I used a dies "Tim Holtz". Any goshawk, I added "Glitter Stickels Diamond".

I realized a knot with the ribbon " pink Organza " and I stuck it on the top. I stuck both ends "by Twisting" them slightly. In the center of this knot, I added a small pink button and another knot realized with a piece of twine pink and white.

Then, I added the following flowers which I covered with some touches of "Glitter Stickels Icicle":

- Big pink rose (30 mm).

- White carnation.

- White flower of cherry tree.

- Turquoise blue Rose (15 mm).

To finish, I added it a die-cut " Swirls " realized with a dies "Lily Of The Valley".
