Advent with Friends Tag 2

Hallo ihr Lieben, ich bin heute mit Tag 2 von unserem Adventskalender der Inspirationen dran. Ich hoffe ihr habt viel Spaß an den vielen Werken von verschieden kreativen Crafters.

Ich zeige euch heute ein kleines Geschenkset, welches ich gewerkelt habe. Im Moment probiere ich mich mit der Farbe Lila aus.

Die Verpackungen habe ich mit viel Wasser und Distress Oxide Pads gestaltet.

Fikreta here today to share 

with you fun shaker card.

For my card I use  Llama Tell You 

stamp set from Gerda Steiner designs.

Here is tutorial how 

I made this card!

First I stamped  images,

I use distress inks to color my images.

One is pink.

Thats is weird one 😄 

I cut cloud die cut and use it as a stencil 

to make backround.

With memento black ink 

I stemped sentiment.

With circle cutting die I made

 windowfor shaker.

 I glue my Llamas and put acetate

then I add heart suwins from my stash.

And ta da!

Card is done!

Masked Stripes Background

Hi everyone! Today's card started with the idea of using masking tape (or in my case washi tape) to create a masked stripes background.



So after placing a few pieces of tape on a piece of white paper, I colored the ramaining white areas with Mustard Seeds Distress ink. At this stage, I stamped a few flower images using the same ink, to add more interest. Then peeled off the tape carefully and placed it back masking the already colored areas.
I went over the uncolored stripes with a light layer of Evergreen Bough Distress ink. To achieve a light layer of coloring I used a blending brush instead of a blending tool.



I continued by die cutting the panel using a stitched rectangle die. I also die cut a tag shaped window out of the panel and placed it temporarily onto the card base and into my stamping platform, in order to align my sentiment. Then removed the panel and stamped the sentiment directly on the card base.
The panel was then foam mounted on top and a little birdie was adhered (also with foam squares) right outside the window.

For coloring the bird I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers 021-Light Carmine and 050-Yellow. I fussy cut it with my scissors. A few clear Pretty Pink Posh sequind were added here and there to accent.

Palm Trees For A Gorgeous Day!

Hello lovely people! Are you dreaming of vacation already? I know I do! But I have to wait a bit more! Meanwhile I'm making summer cards! And this MFT Flamazing stamp set couldn't be more ideal for summer! This time I skipped the flamingos and used just the palm trees to create a chilling summer scene.





First I stamped and die cut two palm trees and their coconuts. To create a more realistic look I used my copic markers to add shading to the tree. I went with a favorite color combo for greens: YG03, YG17, YG67. And for the tree trunk: E13, E15, E17.

I also stamped and die cut one of the little flowers that is included in the set.

For the background, I started bu blending Antique Linen and Peacock Feathers Distress inks with a blending brush over a piece of white card stock. A few splotches of water were added and then dumped with a paper towel. I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die.




The sentiment was white heat embossed on black card stock and cut with a fishtail die. With all my pieces ready to go I started assembling the card with the use of foam squares. Finally, a few sequins were added here and there to accent, and the panel was mounted on a standard A2 white card base.

Penny Black Buddy and Duck Birthday Card

Hello and welcome back! Athena here with a birthday card to share with you, using the cutest little duckling from the Penny Black Buddy and Duck stamp set.



I knew from the beggining that I wanted to color my image with copic markers, so I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink that is copic friendly, doesn't bleach or smear. The colors I used are:

Baloon: RV11, RV13, RV14
Duck: Y35, Y15, Y13, Y11
Duck's beak and feet: YR07, YR04, Y17



Next, I fuzzy cut my image leaving a white border all around and started working on the background. For that I used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and a cloud stencil and with a blending tool I loosely added color onto my panel. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and foam mounted the panel onto a standard A2 card base before adhering the duck with foam squares.

As a final touch I went all over the baloon with glossy accents and added droplets of Nuvo Morning Due here and there. They look like bubbles to me!



There are six images in this stamp set and they are all super adorable and so fun to color. I'm definately going to use it for a few more birthday cards. I hope I've inspired you to give it a try!

Schüttel-Karte „light“

Hallo ihr Bastelbegeisterten, ich bin Anja und gebe heute mein Debüt auf diesem Blog. Ich war ganz aufgeregt und habe mir lange überlegt, welche Karte ich heute vorstellen möchte. Und tadaaaa, es ist eine Schüttelkarte „light“.

„Light“ deshalb, weil ich statt Pailletten, kleinen Perlen oder was man sonst noch so in eine Schüttelkarte steckt, einfach nur Glitzerpulver verwendet habe.

Den Rahmen mit der kleinen Fee habe ich mit der Silhouette geschnitten. Dafür musste ich am Computer das Motiv aussuchen und die entsprechende Datei erstellen. Den Sonnenuntergang im Hintergrund habe ich dann mit den Distress-Farben gemacht und etwas Wasser darüber getropft. Der Spruch ist mit Memento Tuxedo Black gestempelt. 

Ein bisschen Glitzer mit dem schwarzen Wink of Stella durfte bei der Fee natürlich nicht fehlen.

Ich hoffe, ihr habt jetzt auch richtig Lust eine Schüttelkarte zu basteln. Vielleicht sogar für unsere aktuelle Challenge?!
