Notebook peace in Advent Art by Marlene

 Ihr Lieben! 

Die Adventszeit steht bevor, eine Zeit der Ruhe, Besinnung und mit etwas Hoffnung auch eine Zeit voller Liebe. In diesem Vogel sehe ich diese Stille - warum auch immer? Vielleicht erinnert sie mich an eine Friedenstaube. Die Farben habe ich bewusst nicht weihnachtlich gewählt, weil dieses Notebook das ganze Jahr über an die besondere Zeit im Advent erinnern soll. Ich möchte es ganz altmodisch als Adressbuch verwenden und all diejenigen eintragen, die mir am Herzen liegen. 

Ich wünsche Euch schöne Adventstage und die passende Stimmung!

Hello to all of you! 

in a few days we will have Advent, a reflective time with peace and hope, best case of course filled with love. Can´t describe why I think about a dove of peace if I see this stamp? I want to use this notebook to fill it with adresses of the important persons I love in my life.

Wedding card

Hi everyone,

Today I have another wedding card for you.

Made with a lovely stamp from Studiolight:

Using Versamark ink and white embossing powder always

gives a lovely effect.

It is also handy for colouring with watercolour.

This flower is coloured with distress inks.

Here is the card I made with thsi lovely flower:

The background is made with a Dutchdoobadoo stencil and with 

the Gelli plate.

The little hearts are covered with gold and shabby white

embossing powder.

Always a nice touch embossing powders.

Happy Burthday card

Hi everyone,,

Today I want to share a flower card with you all.

I just love colouring with pencils at the moment

and trying new stuff with them.

I used the Orchid stamp from Studiolight for colouring.

As you see I coloured with pencils on kraft paper.

The text Happy Birthday is taken from a Noor! Design text sheet.

Although I stitched on the vellum, I used tacky tape for

vellum as well.

It was out of my comfort zone this CAS card, but still hope you like it.

Hope to have inspired you as well.

Shabby Tag - Love Note

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute zeige ich euch ein Tag im Shabby Chic Stil. 

Perfekt dafür ist das Paper Pad von Studio Light, denn es heißt sogar "Shabbychic" und  für die Tagform habe ich eine Stanze von My Favorite Things Die-namics "Stitched Traditinal Tag" benutzt. 

Beides bekommt ihr hier im Shop.

 

Die kleinen Briefe sind alle aus dem Designpapier ausgeschnitten, auch die junge Dame ist ein Motiv aus dem Papierblock. Einige Ränder habe ich mit Gesso leicht gewischt, für den Shabby Look.

Die Uhr hat Glossy Accents bekommen und stellenweise habe ich mit Liqiud Pearls kleine feine Punkte gesetzt.

Schön, dass ihr wieder reingeschaut habt. 

Dann ran an den Shabby Look, ist gar nicht so schwer!

Owl

Hi everyone,

So glad you stopped by today.

Today I have a special project for you.

As you all know I love the shape art stencils from

Dutchdoobadoo.

This time I used the Owl shape art stencil.

Here is my creation: 

I used papers from Studiolight.

I used the Circle nested Spellbinder dies to make the eyes nicely round

and added a third layer to it.

I also used ribbon from Scrapberry's.

I added a little bow as finishing touch to this creation.

The halfpearls made it look more iicely.

This owl is so cute as sweet little present.

Also as a card very usefull.

Well, Hope I have given you some inspiration.
