Bear hugs

Hallöchen ihr Lieben, hier ist Lisa mit zwei Karten, auf denen ich wieder vorsichtig einen Zeh in den Mixed Media-Teich getaucht habe. 

Hi friends, it's Lisa here with two cards today. For these ones I once again carefully put one of my toes into the mixed media pond.

Die Hintergründe entstanden aus einer Kombination aus einem Distress Oxide Spray, Nuvo Mousse und einer selbstgemachten Schablone.  

I created the backgrounds using a combination of a distress oxide spray, nuvo mousse and a stencil I made myself.

Hallo meine Lieben, 

heute habe ich mich mal aus meiner Komfortzone getraut und mich ein ganz kleines bisschen in den Mixed Media Bereich gewagt. 

Ich denke, da kann ich mir für die Zukunft von den anderen Designteam Mädels noch einiges abschauen aber es soll ja noch kein Meister vom Himmel gefallen sein ;)

today I dared to do something out of my comfort zone and tried to incorporate a little bit of mixed media into my card. 

I guess there's still a lot I can learn from the other girls on the design team but practise makes perfect, right? ;)

Hi and happy Monday!

Heute bringe ich Euch nochmal etwas Sommer-Sonne-Spaß-Urlaubsstimmung mit einer Shaker Karte mit diesem coolen Katzenmotiv von Penny Black.
Today I bring you some summer-sun-fun-holidays mood with a shaker card with this cool cat image by Penny Black.

Begonnen habe ich mit dem witzigen Motiv mit der surfenden Katze aus dem Stempelset Kool Kats von Penny Black. Ich habe es mit Memento Tuxedo Black gestempelt und mit Copic Markern coloriert.
 I started with the funny main image which is part of the Kool Kats stamp set by Penny Black. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers.

Dann habe mit meinem Schneidebrett aus hellblauem Karton ein Shaker-Fenster geschnitten, den Spruch mit Memento Paris Dusk ink darauf gestempelt und Transparentfolie mit Ranger Glossy Accents dahinter geklebt. Aus Foam Tape habe ich schmale Streifen geschnitten und diese hinter die Transparentfolie geklebt. Ich habe dann Pailletten in unterschiedlichen Farben (blau, grün) und winzige Perlen auf mein coloriertes Motiv gelegt, das Shaker-Fenster darauf positioniert und fest angedrückt.
Then I cut a shaker window out of light blue cardstock with my cutting board, stamped the sentiment with Memento Paris Dusk ink on it and glued some acetate foil with Ranger Glossy Accents behind it. I cut narrow stripes of foam tape and glued them onto the acetate foil. Then I put some sequins (blue, green) and microbeads onto the image, positioned the shaker window over it and pressed it firmly down.

Jetzt zum Hintergrund. Ich wollte, dass die Karte noch etwas Textur und Glanz und die Idee von Wellen oder einem Fischernetz bekommt, deswegen habe ich mit meinem Dutch Doobadoo Fabric
Stencil etwas Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Cornflower Blue auf eine weiße Karte aufgetragen. Ich liebe den Glanz und die Textur, die dadurch entsteht, schaut mal genau hin!
Now for the background. I used my Dutch Doobadoo Fabric stencil and wiped some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse Cornflower Blue onto a white card base.I love the shimmer and texture you create with that, take a closer look!

Das war's - nur noch das Shaker-Element auf die Karte kleben, fertig.
That's it - just glue the shaker element onto the card base, and a fun card is finished.
