O la la, manch eine von euch Herzensguten kennt ja meine sprunghaften Attitüden im Reich des kreativen Areals und weiss, dass ich den lieben langen Sommer hinweg im Handwerk des Pourings mein Glück versuchte.
O la la, some of you good hearted people know my erratic attitudes in the realm of the creative area and that I tried my luck in the craft of Acrylic Fluid Art during the lovely long summer.
Neben allerlei unterschiedlichen Keilrahmen begnügte ich mich obendrein mit smarten Speechbubbles sowie tuffigen Wölkchen à la Papp-Art aus Pappmachè, die ich vor den acrylischen Ergüssen mit Unschuldsweiss grundierte, damit die farbenfrohen Nuancen und Effekte durch den beigen Unterton nicht in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden.
In addition to all sorts of different canvas boards I was content with smart speechbubbles as well as little puffy clouds à la Papp-Art made of papier-mâché, which I primed with white before the acrylic coating so that the colorful nuances and effects are not affected by the beige ground.
Damit diese imposante Wandzierde jedoch nicht durch und durch verloren wirkt, modellierte ich mit unterschiedlich grossen Blütenblättern aus hauchdünnem Moosgummi ein üppiges Blümelchen, deren inneren Blattansätze ich vor dem Zusammenpuzzeln leicht mit roséfarbenen Wangenrouge betupfte.
However, so that this imposing wall decoration does'nt seem to be lost, I modeled from different sized petals of wafer-thin foam a little sumptuous blossom, whose inner petals I dabbed gently before dabbing with rouge.
Das pfiffige Sprüchlein stanzte ich hingegen aus dickerem Moosgummi sowie selbstklebender Glitzerfolie aus und setzte die Letterchen passgenau übereinander.
On the other hand, I punched out the clever slogan from thicker foam as well as self-adhesive glitter foil and placed the letters exactly on top of each other.
Durch das "Fundament" wirkt der Slogan richtig herrlich plastisch erhaben und hebt sich trotz der kleinen Schriftgrösse dennoch propper vom Backgrounde ab, ohne gross zu überfrachtet anzumuten.
Due to the "foundation", the slogan looks really vividly sublime and despite the small font size, it still stands out propably from the background, without being too overly crowded.
Solch multikulturelle Zierde ist doch ein richtiger Eyecatcher, vor allem wenn man reichlich kahle Zimmerwändle zum Ausschmücken zur Verfügung hat, oder?
Such multi-cultural ornament is a true eyecatcher, especially if you have plenty of bare walls to decorate them, right?
