Party Time Birthday Tag

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy here with a new project made with products from the Cards and More Shop .

I decided it was time to use this sweet stamp set again!
I haven't for a while, and it's one of my favorites since it's called "Cake Nancy"! lol

Instead of a card, I decided to make a birthday tag.
I thought this fun Dutch Doobadoo template would make a fun tag shape.
Here is my birthday tag:

I stamped the image on white, colored it with my markers,
and fussy cut it out.

I cut out two of the shield shapes,
one in white and one in patterned paper, and then distressed the edges.
I adhered them together.
I added an eyelet in the top of the patterned paper one.
I threaded some ribbons through the eyelet, and tied them with a bow.

I adhered the image in place using foam tape for extra dimension.
Then I added the "It's time to party" sentiment.
I added stickles to the stars and sprinkles,
and some glossy accents to the candles.
Finally, I added some sequins.

One last look at the tag:

Once Upon A Time...

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy here with a new project made with products from the Cards and More Shop .

This was such a fun card to make!
I sent it to my daughter who will be celebrating a special birthday!

I began with this super fun Dutch Doobadoo template.
There are so many creative things to do with this one!
I'll be using it again but this time I just cut several layers and stacked them up!

All the stamping was done using the Magical Stamp from Jane's Doodles.

Isn't that cute?
It's such a fun stamp set to play with!

Here's the left side.
I coloured it with my Spectrum Noir markers.
Then I added some Stickles to give it some sparkle.

Here's a closer look at the right side.
More colouring and more sparkle.
All the page edges were distressed.

I scored down the center of the pages.
Then I curled them slightly, and added foam tape in a few places,
to make them look like real book pages.

Here's one last look at my finished card:

Thanks

Hello everyone

DT Alexandra here sharing today a project that I made using Dutch Doobadoo shape art ticket

For this project I took a piece of pattern paper and the ticket shape and just traced around the stencils using a pencil. After that I took a scissors and just cut the ticket shape . I also wanted to have a little window for the ticket to create a bit of interest and I also added a piece of acetate so if you want to insert a note or a ticket inside you still could and when you take it outside you see the flower inside and the greeting

The flowers from that I added to the ticket are from Jane's Doodles and I colored them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and the fussy cut them.

Thank you so much for stopping by today ! Have a lovely day!

Trimming the Tree

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy back with a new project made with products from
the Cards and More Shop .

Using a Dutch Doobadoo Template, I created a fun Christmas tree card.
I traced the tree onto green cardstock, and then on to a green patterned paper.
I distressed all the edges with the distress tool.

I combined it with this sweet Paper Nest Doll.
I've used this stamp before for Valentine's Day, since she holds a string of hearts.
This time the lovely Ellie is stringing her hearts up on her Christmas tree!

Purple is Ellie's favorite colour!
Aren't her sparkly purple hearts pretty?

I wrapped green glitter cord around the tree.
I punched out a bunch of little hearts,
coloured them with purple glitter glue,
and adhered them to the cord.

I added a lovely cord bow to the very top!

I left a section of the cord empty for the strand that Ellie is holding.
She'll soon be finished decorating her pretty tree.

Eat Dessert First!

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy here with a new project made with products from
the Cards and More Shop .

Isn't this a fun card?
It's even more fun because the stamp set is actually called "Cake Nancy"! lol

I coloured the stamped image up with my Spectrum Noir Markers.
I created the shaped card with a Dutch Doobadoo template,
then added the viewmaster die to the center.
I popped the image and sentiment up on foam tape.
Finally, I added Stickles to the candles and stars,
and then added some sequins from my stash.

I added some pen stitching around the words,
and the background paper.

Here you can see the sparkle a little bit better.

Happily Ever After

Hello, friends!

It's Nancy here with a new project made with products from
the Cards and More Shop .

Did you guess that I would be using yet another Dutch Doobadoo template? lol
Yes, I do love these templates!
This time I used the oval to make a fun wedding card.
The wedding season is winding down
but there will be lots of destination weddings coming up.
That's what I had in mind when I put this card together.

I coloured the stamped images and placed them in the scene.
Then I stamped the "happily ever after" in black.
Finally, I wrapped some twine around the bottom and tied a bow.

These were the products used from the Cards and More Shop :

Studio Light Papers - Summer at the Beach

Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art - Oval

Dutch Doobadoo Card Art - Card Stand

Tiddly Inks Clear Stamps - Happily Ever

Baker's Twine - Light Brown
