Mother's Day card with MFT Rustic Wildflowers

Hello and welcome! Athena here to share a card especially made for Mother's day, but since the actual word 'mom' isn't written on the front panel, you can always give it to someone who's really special to you.



Card Details

First I stamped a bunch of flowers and leaves from the stamp set. I went with a pink-yellow-purple palette, perfect for spring. Then used the coordinating dies and cut them all out.

For the background, I blended Broken China Distress Ink on a piece of white card stock that was then die cut with the MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX die-namics. Splotches of both water and Broken China Distress Ink were added on top before arranging the flowers and leaves into a cluster.



I white heat embossed the sentiment on a stripe of black card stock that was then cut with fish tail in both ends and foam mounted next to the flowers.

As a final touch, I added droplets of Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops here and there.
