Hello my friends! Athena here today and I have a birthday card that is suitable for a boy or a girl. I chose to use one of the leaves that are included in the MFT Sketchy Flowers stamp set. And here it is!
First I stamped my image several times onto a pre-cut white panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink since I knew I wanted to use my copics and this ink is copic friendly. I also stamped a few more onto another piece of white card stock. Then I colored them all with my markers (YG03-YG63-YG67) and die cut the additional leaves with the coordinating dies.
For the sentiment, I white heat emboss a few of the ones that are included in the MFT Yay For You stamp set onto black card stock and die cut them all with the MFT Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips die-namics. Then I foam mounted all the strips onto my panel before adhering (also with foam squares) a few of the additional leaves here and there.
I foam mounted the panel onto a standard A2 black card base and added lots of yellow Nuvo drops to accent.
I really like the versatility of this card. The sentiment can easily be changed, the colors of the leaves as well and you can even use the same design with other images that you may like.
